Aberdeen Country Club
Aberdeen will take you into the game of golf in the true "Scottish" tradition. All three nines are reminiscent of those early days of golf with the "Meadows", "Highlands" & "Woodlands" nines. Tucked among towering hardwoods and the beautiful Waccamaw River, this course features extensive mounding, wide landing areas, & bent grass greens. |
Blackmoor Golf Club
Blackmoor, built on old time Longwood Plantation, is the only course in the Myrtle Beach area designed by the famous Gary Player. This spectacular layout uses natural terrain to form each and every hole, making it a great place to enjoy a round of golf. Player, known as the “World’s Most Traveled Golfer”, uses his experience and imagination to provide a challenge for the most capable of players, but yet an enjoyable layout for higher handicappers. |
King's North at Myrtle Beach National
Arnold Palmer's sensational King's North Course has been crowned "South Carolina's Course of the Year for 1996", "Top 10 New Upscale Public Course in America" by Golf Digest for 1997, and "Top 100 in America" by Golf for Women in 2002 for three years running. The famous island green possesses an inspiring new look with an elevated sculptured bulk-head. |
Litchfield Country Club
Ranked one of the "world's 50 best" in 1996 by Condé Nast Traveler; the gracious charms of this exclusive country club "signature course" are enjoyed by only a limited number of visiting golfers. The mature tree-lined fairways wind amid giant oaks and shimmering lakes of a former Carolina rice plantation, creating an extraordinarily challenging "country club" experience. This traditionally styled layout is the flagship of the historic plantation courses. |
Long Bay Club
The Long Bay Club is a magnificent Jack Nicklaus "signature course" that is continually ranked among the top courses in the country. A great course is often described as one where the holes become etched in your memory. Long Bay is such a course. This is not a typical Nicklaus design. Deep pot bunkers and vast waste areas add a unique identity and challenge. |
River Club
The semi-private River Club is now one of the hishest rated courses in Golf Digest's "Places to Play" in 2002 with **** 1/2 stars. This signature design by renowned architect Tom Jackson is a favorite among returning golfers. A premier plantation design with the only bentgrass greens in the Pawleys Island area. |
South Creek @ Myrtle Beach National
Southcreek is a Palmer design, and the favorite among its members. Finesse is required by every golfer with its guarded bentgrass greens and numerous waste areas, as it winds through wetlands and hardwood forests. A distinctly different design than Myrtle Beach National's other two courses, South creek provides its own unique round of golf. |
West Course @ Myrtle Beach National
One of the most challenging courses in Myrtle Beach is the beautiful Myrtle Beach National West. From the regular tees, golfers of all abilities will enjoy the classic Arnold Palmer design. But be prepared for a professional challenge from the back tees as the numerous doglegs, fairway bunkers and natural hazards come into play. |
Willbrook Plantation
Carved from the site of two Carolina rice plantations, designer Dan Maples calls Willbrook “One of my best”. The par-5, 15th hole demonstrates the many challenges on the wetlands, waterways and stately oaks used in this great design. Featured on the television show "Nature Scene" for its coexistence of golf and wildlife. |
Waterway Hills Golf Club
Truly one of the most unique courses in all of golf. All three nine-hole courses were designed by golf's most celebrated course designer, Robert Trent Jones. The only access to this 27-hole golf preserve is by glass-enclosed cable car across the Intracoastal Waterway. The three nines each possess their own individual character. |
